Website photo editing evidence

After gathering the images from the photoshoot, certain images needed editing I did this by playing with the levels to lighten them and give them more of a professional edge. The outcome is below and I am happy with them.

Website location, equipment and cast list

For my website there were many different shoots that needed to take place and also equipment that was used. The locations were: Newquay and Lanhydrock which are places with amazing natural beauty this is why I chose these locations as a good place for my regional topic. In Newquay I went to many different locations such as: Fistral beach, Mr.Shilton's Barber Shop and various coffee shops around Newquay. However around the Bodmin area I went to Lanhydrock and also The Harbour Brewing Company. These locations gave me the results I wanted and proved to be useful for my regional/hipster products. The equipment I used during the time I was taking photos were: iPhone 5 camera, Cannon D5, 800 mm lens which game me phenomenal shots of surfers of at Fistral beach.
There were various surfers at Newquay which I got a shot of, and during my time at Mr.Shilton's barbers a character called 'Curly Tom' was in the shots.

Original website images and reflection

For my website I had to have plenty of images so this meant using images from the many different shoots I did. The locations of these images are:

  • Fistral beach, Newquay
  • Lanhydrock
  • Harbour Brewery
  • Mr.Shilton's barbers
From looking at these photos I am happy with the quality and the style of photography I have done. I think overall the images are of a high quality and you would see similar photos like these in real media products such as: Cornwall Today. I ensured that I experimented with different lenses such as the 800mm to ensure that I could get high quality close ups of the surfers but also using good quality cameras to get these high quality images like the Cannon D5.
