Bethany Dennis has had the oppotuinity to tour with the notorious artist Kaya. She now writes for Crash, showing previously unseen photos, and an exclusive interview. Here is the artisit that changed the World.

Whether you have been keeping up with the music industry or not, you would of heard the name Kaya pop-up consistantly. This is the artist that has come from nothing to a huge success, with the new hit album Nevermind. Nevermind has reached number 1 on not only the US charts but also the UK, the new upcoming artist, has been touring with their new album over the past 3 months, and I have had the pleasure of being alongside throughout the action.
The original tour started in America, through to Europe, where it ended in Kaya’s hometown Birmingham. The tour was explosive, it had highs and lows but I was never disapointed with the experience I recieved while on tour with the artist. During my time on tour I got to ask Kaya many questions, including what inspired them the most to persue music. “Overall I think it was my parents, I was named after Bob Marley’s album. Ever since I was young I was introudced to music such as Nirvana, the Cure, and even Bob Marley. I had a range of music introduced to me from such a young age.
My dad would teach me certain songs on the guitar, and ever since then I’ve been hooked.”
Other questions included, How have you taken the success of your new album?
“It has taken me a lot of time producing, and perfecting this album. I’ve spent so much time making sure it’s right for the fans, who have backed me the whole time. Without their support I would not be where I am. Music has been their through my ups and downs, and I’d be lost without it.”
During the time touring it was explosive, and shown the true colours of not only the artist, but also every member taking part. It shown how much the music meant overall.
The question I meant felt was most suprising was when I asked about Kaya’s future plans. She answered “To me nothing has changed, I just wanted people to enjoy my music, the fame and wealth is just a benefit to it, but I’m not going to be one of them celebrities that lets the fame get to me. I’m happy with the way things are.”

“The album has changed the music industry, and left its mark.”
