Analysis of survey, for my target audience

Target audience of my survey

When looking at the type of audience for my magazine, we can see that more females, are interested then , males. We can see that 60% of my audience are female and 40% are males.

Then we can see that there's a particular audience interested in the magazine, which is from the ages of 17-22. However there is also an audience from 11-16. Which shows that the magazine is aimed at the target audience I was after.

Then I looked at the social class of the audience I'm attracting, it showed a difference between, lower class and middle class. 20% of the lower class are interested, and 80% of the middle class.

After asking these questions I then decided to look at the type of magazine, my target audience would like to see. I started off with the colour scheme whether the audience wanted a warm, cold or neutral coloured magazine. The results show that the majority of my target audience, want a warmer coloured magazine with 60% agreeing with it. However when we look at the colder and more neutral colour scheme, we can see that about 20% each would want that, so overall the target audience are more attracted to a warmer colour scheme.

Then I asked the question, whether my target audience would want more of a tidy, smart look to the magazine, or a grungy rock look to it. My target audience by looking at the results would prefer a rocky, grungy look to a smarter tidy look with 60% wanting the rocky look and 40%, wanting the smarter look.

I then asked the target audience, whether they'd prefer more articles, or more images. The results showed that 60% would prefer more articles, and 40% would prefer more images.
I wanted to develop more on the type of articles my target audience wanted to see. I asked what type they would prefer, the results showed: 40% wanted to see more educational topics, 20% wanted to see articles on bulling and other serious topics, and the other 40% wanted to see fun facts, and articles.
The last question I asked on my survey was, what attracts my target audience more to a cover page, the main image, or the articles featured. The results showed that 80% preferred to see the main image, and 20% wanted to see the articles featured.
Overall, by looking the results I can see I'm dealing with a younger audience that prefers a warmer coloured magazine, that likes articles over images, but the main image on a cover magazine attracts them more, than the articles featured. I'm happy with these results, and will use them to develop my magazine.
