Magazine publisher

For my magazine I am creating a regional magazine, which means it will be only a certain audience of a certain area reading the magazine, and being attracted by it. Therefore for my publisher I want a company that is successful and will be able to publish my magazine and cater for the needs of my magazine. Originally my instant thought was to get the Bauer Media group to publish my magazine, as they are one of the most successful publishing groups around. However when thinking about this logically and seeing the magazine I am producing, it wouldn't meet the criteria of my regional magazine as it has a niche audience. Bauer Media Group produce magazines on a mass scale and have a large audience.

Therefore the publishing company I have chosen is Engine House Media, this is a company that is popular in Cornwall and Devon. However it is extremely successful with magazines such as Cornwall Living. This is the countries most successful regional magazine, and seeming as I'm producing a regional magazine within Cornwall this company would be ideal to have produce my magazine. The publishing company also has a customer base of over 3 million, which means that it will be able to promote my magazine and have good fan base. This magazine also has experience with digital media too, which can promote my website. The company is based in Cornwall, which is where my magazine is based. Therefore it can be considered that this is a company that will cater for my niche audience.
The company is extremely successful, and is also known for catering for my target audience this stated on their website. This will also make it a lot easier for my magazine to have the target audience it needs, seeming as this company specifically caters for the audience I want.
